As part of the Annual Bar Association Conference in Eilat, IATI CEO & President, Karin Mayer Rubinstein, moderated a panel on “High-Tech Negative Migration and The Challenges of Retaining Israeli Entrepreneurs.” The discussion focused on the growing trend of startups registering abroad, the critical decisions founders make regarding incorporation and intellectual property location, and the influence of investors and angels on these choices.

Panelists emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Israel Tax Authority, the Ministry of Finance, and the industry to create incentives that will help retain the economic and managerial core of Israeli high-tech within Israel, highlighting the urgency of coordinated actions leading into 2027. The discussion also underscored how crucial it is to develop solutions through continuous dialogue between the government and industry.

Participants in the panel included Shai Aharonovitz (Israel Tax Authority) and IATI members: Noam Canetti (EY Israel), Adam Fisher (Bessemer Venture Partners), Dan Shamgar (Meitar), and Yair Geva (Herzog Fox & Neeman).
