Call for MedDev IATI Members: FREE Technical Workshop by Nordson Medical

During the MDR&D conference on Oct 22-23rd 2018, Nordson Medical will hold a technical workshop.

The goal of the technical workshop is to help companies solve burning technical problems.

Due to time limitation the workshop can accommodate only 7 participating companies.

If you would like to have your problem looked at, reviewed and solved please follow the following process:

Prescreening requirements:

Pre-commercial (in development – at any stage) medical device companies.
Who are developing physical medical devices (ideally interventional, MIS, surgical, implants)
Focus on the following clinical areas: Structural heart, cardiac, coronary, vascular, venous, neurovascular, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, ENT or laparoscopic surgery (likely as FDA Class II or III devices)

Submission should include:

NON-confidential company and technology overview.
Technical challenge for the panel to provide advice and commentary on
Availability to meet prior to the conference
Commitment to attend in person at the panel discussion if selected

Deadline for submission is Oct 15.

Panel Oct 23rd. for selected companies – 90 mins – max 2 hours.

Format of panel:

3-4 min non-confidential company overview (pitch) by selected company to INCLUDE the technical challenge / problem statement.
One panelist takes point to present back the collective advice / view of the experts – 3-4 min presentation.
3-4 min questions – primarily from the company / problem statement owner, but open-up to audience if time allows.
An award for $5,000 equivalent value of consulting to further develop the solution to their technical challenge to one company out of the 7 selected companies.
