Closing of applications for the Health Initiative of the Year

Sep. 15, 2024

The Reboot Forum was founded in 2014 with the goal of encouraging ongoing public discourse on health issues and promoting health-related topics to the top of the national agenda. This year, the forum celebrates a decade of its activities.

Once again this year, the forum, in collaboration with Yedioth Ahronoth, is hosting the “Health Initiative of the Year” competition, which encourages entrepreneurship and the promotion of solutions that will enhance the healthcare system and address its many challenges.

This year, in addition to the regular competition track, a unique new track has been introduced for initiatives in the field of mental health. This addition recognizes the immense need that has arisen in this area following the events of October 7th and the prolonged conflict since then.

Key Points (for the full competition terms, please refer to the official competition regulations, which are definitive):

  1. The competition is open to everyone: healthcare workers, public sector employees, private companies, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and social organizations.
  2. Submitted initiatives must be at a maturity stage that allows for a quick launch or already in the pilot phase (ideas that are not translated into a “ready to launch” work plan will not be accepted).
  3. The winning initiative will receive a financial grant of 150,000 ILS and will gain professional exposure before a panel of senior healthcare system judges, as well as media coverage in Yedioth Ahronoth and YNET. The winning initiative in the mental health track will receive a financial grant of 50,000 ILS, along with professional and media exposure.

The deadline for submitting initiatives is September 15, 2024, and here is the link to submit initiatives for the competition.

You are also invited to read the article published on the launch of the competition in Yedioth Ahronoth and YNET, as well as the article on the winning health initiative of 2023.
