For the first time since the war began, the IATI Foreign Ambassadors Forum in Israel, led by Karin Mayer Rubinstein, CEO & President of the Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI), held its quarterly meeting. The forum was attended by approximately 50 ambassadors and economic attachés from leading countries operating in Israel. Additionally, Karin Mayer Rubinstein presented the latest IATI Reports, including the activities of global companies in Israel, the incorporation of startups, and key issues concerning human capital in the industry during wartime.

The main speakers at the forum included Chemi Peres, Managing Partner & Co-Founder of Pitango, alongside Asaf Zamir Acting Deputy Mayor of Tel Aviv and former Israeli Consul in New York. They addressed the forum and discussed a variety of topics related to the resilience of Israel’s high-tech industry as the central growth engine of the economy and the impact of Israel’s international relations during these challenging times on the promotion of the industry both in Israel and globally.

IATI continues to work diligently to ensure Israel’s tech industry’s business continuity, fostering collaborations, and building bridges between industry, academia, and government in Israel and the global ecosystem to promote innovation and growth.

Karin Mayer Rubinstein, CEO and President of the Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI):
“The State of Israel is currently facing significant challenges in a rapidly changing global reality, especially over the past year as the country has been at war on several fronts, adding complexity to the situation. Despite the national security, economic, and social challenges, Israeli high-tech remains a central pillar driving the Israeli economy forward. Our high-tech and advanced industries not only provide groundbreaking technological solutions to the world but also serve as a critical economic growth engine, driving Israel’s prosperity. We see the utmost importance in cooperation between the diplomatic community and advanced industries, and this relationship, based on trust and collaboration, is crucial to our continued success and to addressing future challenges.”
