Invitation to the 5th China (Mianyang) International Science & Technology Expo

The 5th China (Mianyang) International Science & Technology Expo will be held on September 7th-10th, in the city of Mianyang, Sichuan province. The expo is organized by the PRC Ministry of Science & Technology, the Sichuan provincial government, alongside with the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu. The State of Israel will be the “co-host country” in the Expo, as a leading nation of S&T, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The expo includes multiple forums, panels and side-events, and considered to be “one of the ten leading events in China” – the 2nd year in a roll, supported by the PRC Ministry of Commerce. The city of Mianyang, which will host the expo, was declared by the PRC government as “a leading city of science and technology”. The expo aims to encourage commercial and technological corporation and investments promotion between China and Israel. For more details in English please press here.
This year, celebrating 25 years for Sino-Israel relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Beijing last March, would be reflected in the expo’s main theme. An Israeli pavilion will be built in the expo, hosting Israeli companies that will hold B2B meetings with Chinese companies, showing advanced technologies and recent developments in their fields of expertise, and a variety of Israeli products
We are inviting Israeli companies to take a part in the expo and apply here. Since there is a limited number of participants, the most suitable companies will be chosen by the organizers. These will enjoy:
1. Free admission to the expo, coordinated B2B meetings with participating Chinese companies. 2. Coordination of additional B2B meetings prior the expo, if needed.
3. Domestic flights within China, if needed.
4. Mianyang hotel during the expo.
5. Transportation within Mianyang.
6. Full meals within the expo.

Purchase of Products and Payments
Subject to any applicable law, you may place an order for a product, service or association membership fee through the Website only if you are at least 18 years old. All such transactions at the website are secured according to PCI international standard by Net Pay Ltd., IATI’s payment service provider. Payment becomes due and owing immediately after the order is placed. Our cancellation policy for orders of products, services or association membership fee is subject to the Israeli Consumer Protection Act, 1981, except in transactions where section 14c(d) of the act is applicable.
Association membership will take effect upon completion of payment in accordance with the IATI Articles of Association and subject thereto.
Without derogating from Sections 4 and 5, IATI will not be liable for any failure, delay, expense or loss incurred by you which is beyond IATI’s reasonable control.
General
The IATI Website shall be deemed solely based in Israel and shall be deemed a passive website that does not give rise to personal jurisdiction over IATI, either specific or general, in jurisdictions other than Israel. These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any claim or dispute between you and IATI that arises in whole or in part from the Website shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located Tel-Aviv, Israel. If any provision of these Terms of Use is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of this these Terms of Use shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and IATI’s failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. With respect to any person other than registered users, IATI reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time and without notice, and it is your responsibility to review these Terms of Use for any changes.
